MY IRISH POTATO!!
DAYS ARE
SUNNY ONES. A BARBECUE PARTY IS LYING AHEAD. AS A GOOD HOST I WISH TO IMPRESS MY GUESTS.AND WHAT CAN
BE MORE ORIGINAL THAN FOOD PROCESSING?!
HERE WE ARE :
SOME IRISH POTATOES ARE HANDY.FOR MY 6 GUESTS 5 BIG POTATOES ARE QUITE
ENOUGH .I THOROUGHLY WASH THEM THEN I CHOP EACH OF THEM OFF INTO 8 SQUARES MAKING SURE SOME PART OF THE POTATO SKIN IS
ONTO EACH OF THEM .
I DIDNOT PEEL THE POTATOES BEFORE.I SPRINKLE
SOME SALT AND DROPS OF SUNFLOWER OIL.I PICK UP A CLEAN GRILL STICK AND PASS 3 POTATOE
SQUARES THROUGH IT THEREAFTER.
I DO SO FOR
THE OTHER POTATOE SQUARES AND I PASS THE STICKS OVER THE FIRE.THE COLOUR OF THE
ROASTS CHANGES INTO A DARK ONE AND A WONDERFUL SMELL OF WATERED SOIL RISES UP.
THE ROASTED SQUARES TASTE LIKE A BONE CARTILAGE THAT IS QUITE DONE.
THE DELIGHT IS ALL YOURS!!!
