   RELAXING   ONIONS


 


 Onions are among the spices that are said to originate with India . There many varieties of onions : white onions, shallots, red ones, purple ones and greeen ones
 Apart from the nice smell they enrich our meals with onions are rich in vitamins and contain a blood pressure -regulating enzym .

To avoid pouring tears while u are choping off a peeled onion first cut it into two halves in its diameter  then chop off one half and the other. 

Onions are used as herbal tea as well .Chop off an orange -sized onion and then soak tit in one litre of water for an hour Then boil this mixture, sift it and drink a cup of i t many times a day It  helps  reduce high blood pressure

 If u prefer onions in salad ( eaten raw) , make sure u eat tomatoes thereafter in order to wipe out the nasty breath that  results from the chewing of raw onions

 As for green onions their consumption is not subject to the same instructons for their smell is not as strong as other onions' s; they can be eaten raw with no consequences in the breath  they can be taken as herbal tea as well.Another way to use green onion is to grind them in a blender then pour it in a cup that u keep in the fridge When the juice hardens remove it from the fridge and whisk it with ice cream  It is a deliciojus tonic rich in vitamjin C. You can take it as a pudding  ,as a snack or if on diet as a full meal
